Going into the 2018 Season, Several coaches are already on the hot seat. Leading the list is Adam Gase. Not because of his ability as a coach; he works in an organization where basically no one has no idea of what they are doing. a great example of this would be the success that jay ajayi had once he left the finz and went elsewhere where the coaches are more in tune with the game. As such, it is a routine every 2 to 3 years to fire the coach and the GM and replace them with some other body who is willing to work for cheap with no long term plan or design. It would seem to be Business as usual in miami that we find gase on the list.
Dirk Koetter may be the current worst coach in the nfl. But like Miami ownership, the glazer family of tampa has no idea of how to build or maintain a team, so it should come as no surprise that after another dismal season, koetter should be made to walk the plank. A coach who has a talented but immature QB and has so far done nothing to develop his NFL skills or design an offense that takes advantage of his skill set is not only a disappointment to the fans, but a disservice to an otherwise talented QB (winston) who will likely go down as a first round bust.
But I will say this. I like it when the Buccaneers lose. It is better for tampa that way. and the glazer children do not deserve a win.
we can have this list without hugh jackson being included. going 1-31 over the pat two seasons is hall of shame material. part of the blame needs to be placed on the front office, for squandering draft picks and then trying to use a baseball formula to a game which has too many variables to chart as such. This year, the Browns are loaded with talent, though some picks were questionable, so if the record does not improve, it is time to fire the coach, the GM, the front office, most of the stadium staff, the parking crew, the ticket takers, sell the team, AND start all over. AGAIN.
The RAVENS won a super bowl a while back, since then they have slowly spiraled into mediocrity and Harbough may be on his way out. Perhaps he should copy his brother and return to work at his alma mater? The Miami Redhawks have not had a winning season since 2010. Perhaps the harbough return would boost recruiting, wins and take the MAC up a notch?
Sadly, rumor has it that the leagues coolest coach Pete Carroll may be the former Seahawks coach at the end of this season. Like Harbough, he met with success then slowly started to coast downhill. now he is surrounded by the challenge of winning with thin talent at best.
If dirk koetter is the worst coach in the nfl, then jason garrett is the second. In fact, jason garrett is a joke, a puppet of INCOMPETENT owner jerry jones who has a team loaded with talent and still finds ways to mess it up. he has no control in the locker room, terrell owens and dez bryant are testaments to that, and he really has no football savvy. on any other team, he would go 1-15 but the teams he coaches are loaded with talent, yet rarely make the playoffs. but in dallas, that is ok. cowboy fans will complain but remain loyal anyway.
finally, i think it is safe to say that the redskins coach jay gruden may be unwelcome in capital city if he does not push the team with the offensive name to native americans into the playoffs this year. granted, the eagles probably have this division locked up, but if the skins cannot muster a wildcard berth at least, gruden make get the blame, and then, the tomahawk.
